Enforcement, Exemptions & Cartels
The EEC Division enforces the Competition Act to address anticompetitive practices like cartels, abuse of dominance, and restrictive behaviors. It oversees exemptions and handles complaints about market misconduct.
Mergers & Acquisitions
This division oversees merger investigations under Chapter 4 of the Competition Act. All proposed mergers must be notified, analyzed, and approved by the Commission to ensure they do not harm competition.
