Acquiring group: The primary acquiring undertaking is Ohlthaver & List Finance and Trading Corporation Proprietary Limited. The acquiring group in Namibia is a diversified conglomerate active in various industries, such as fishing, FMCGs, tourism, and renewable energy.

Target undertaking: The primary target undertaking, Broll and List Property Management (Namibia) Proprietary Limited is an asset and property management services provider.

Relevant market: The Secretariat defined the broader relevant market as the market for property and asset management services in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, Namibia. 

Merger Determination

The Commission found the proposed transaction unlikely to result in the prevention or substantial lessening of competition; it does not result in any undertaking acquiring or strengthening a dominant position in the market and does not raise any public interest concerns.
